April 13-15, 2026-The 2026 Indonesia Footwear Summit, jointly organized by the Indonesian Footwear Association (APRISINDO) and ECV International, grandly opened in Jakarta. As a global leader in 3D printing, UnionTech showcased its end-to-end footwear manufacturing solutions, leveraging 20 years of technical expertise to drive digital transformation and green mass production for the footwear industry in Indonesia and beyond.

At the summit, Damon Huang, Overseas Business Representative of UnionTech's Footwear Business Unit, delivered a keynote speech titled "Digital Molding, Mass Production for the Future.” Centered on smart manufacturing upgrades, he presented a comprehensive and sustainable path from design to mass production—covering high-end equipment, innovative materials, automated systems, and a full-process digital platform. The presentation precisely addressed four key growth opportunities for Indonesia's footwear industry: digitalization, intelligence, new materials, and green low-carbon transformation. Through deep integration of technology and industry, UnionTech is helping build a more efficient, safer, and lower-carbon future for footwear manufacturing.

UnionTech showcased two groundbreaking 3D printers:
FX-380 Elastomer Printer: Equipped with a large-format build platform, it can print six finished shoes simultaneously in just 3.5 hours, with a success rate as high as 95%. Completely suited for efficient mass production of elastomeric footwear.
Fuees430 Metal Shoe Mold Printer: Features a four-laser, multi-galvanometer system with a scanning speed of 6 m/s — doubling production efficiency compared to dual-laser systems. Supports one-piece forming of a single pair of shoe molds. The integrated automatic powder management system combines powder conveying, sieving, and collection, significantly improving powder utilization and operational safety.

Materials & Tech – Solving Production Pain Points
To address challenges related to safety, efficiency, and process control in metal 3D printing for footwear, UnionTech has introduced several technological innovations:
Aluminum-specific material for shoe molds: Eliminates the risk of metal powder explosion, offering high strength and excellent thermal conductivity. Enables narrower melt width and sharper pattern details. Supports direct printing of IP molds without compromising subsequent mold repair or molding efficiency — seamlessly integrating into large-scale production.
Shell-free high-speed printing technology: Automatically identifies outer contours and prints partitioned sections. No need for professional engineers to remove shells. Complex structures are formed in one go.
Support-free & layer-line-free printing technology: Eliminates traditional support structures, optimizing laser path algorithms to directly print overhangs and undercuts. Reduces post-processing steps, avoids surface damage, and improves product yield and appearance quality. Additional patented technologies — including integrated suction/sieving/dosing, automatic splicing, and flat-top laser scanning — continue to drive innovation in metal 3D printing for footwear.

Full-Process Digital Platform
UnionTech launched the first industrial-grade digital solution with proprietary intellectual property rights in China, covering the entire process from design to production:
Polydevs Pre-processing Software: Supports multi-texture mapping, lattice lightweight design, and intelligent support generation — empowering creative design realization.
BPC Pre-processing Software for SLM: Enables partitioned scanning, automatic recognition of fine features, and high-precision multi-galvanometer splicing (supporting up to 32 galvanometers), ensuring precise molding of complex molds.
With full digital control, UnionTech connects design, R&D, production, and management — building a standardized and traceable smart manufacturing system.

3 Core Values: Powering
